Since its acquisition in December, Groupon Philippines has earned a following of 200,000 fans – and still growing. He is also the leader of TXTPower, an advocacy group that monitors the telecommunications sector and champions consumer welfare. Mr. Michael Carandang is the Emmy Award winning producer of The Tyra Banks Show and the fashion reality TV show America’s Next Top Model. He was responsible for bringing the Filipino brand Bench and designers Oliver Tolentino, Michael Cinco and Francis Libiran to America’s Next Top Model’s international audience.
Prior to joining the Tyra Banks produced show, he worked at ABS-CBN’s Magandang Tanghali Bayan and ASAP. He later became production assistant at the Jerry Springer show (US) and worked his way up to became the show’s producer.
Mr. Carandang is also the creator and executive producer of the talk show RSVP Season 1 hosted by Giselle Toengi and Dr. Tess Mauricio and aired at The Filipino Channel and RSVP with Dr. Tess aired at GMA Pinoy TV.
Mr. Jack Madrid has more than twenty (20) years of experience in general management in Southeast Asia across different sectors which include digital media, e-commerce, broadcast media, commercial banking, venture capital and BPO. Ms. Me-Anne Bundalian started her career as an Account Officer in the Corporate Banking Group of Unionbank of the Philippines. Looking for a more exciting and dynamic working environment, she joined Inquirer.net in 2003 where she was initially engaged as Business Development officer. She was eventually given the role to manage the mobile business as well as the marketing team. She has more than 27 years of experience in retailing with specialization in high-end fashion. Prior to joining Zalora Philippines, she worked with Rustan Commercial Corporation initially as Merchandise Manager then eventually as Vice President for Fashion and Fine Jewelry Merchandising. She also served Louis Vuitton Philippines Inc. for 11 years as General Manager.
Over the years, Ms. Mabanta has exhibited her ability to drive and sustain corporate revenues through broad competency in new business development, strategic marketing/brand building, product development, inventory and cost control, marketing and sales promotions, organization building and staff management.

Mr. Hans Sicat is the President and CEO of the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE). Prior to this, he served PSE as Chairman and Independent Director. He is also the concurrent President and CEO of the Securities Clearing Corporation of the Philippines (SCCP).
Currently, he is non-executive Vice Chairman and Director of LegisPro Corporation. Mr. Sicat also holds positions in various business entities such as Independent Director of Serica Balanced Fund and Master Fund, Independent Director of the Philippine Dealing System Holdings Corporation, and Board of Trustee of Securities Investors Protection Fund, among others.
Mr. Sicat has more than two decades of experience as an investment banker.
He finished his coursework for Ph.D. Economics Program at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, USA and earned his Master of Arts in Economics and Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at the University of the Philippines.
A recipient of the Young Market Master Awards (YMMA) for Marketing Management in 2010, Francis Flores is the General Manager and President of Greenwich Pizza. In 2007, Mr. Flores joined Jollibee Foods Corp. system as Marketing Director for Greenwich Pizza and Pasta. During his post, he successfully turned around the brand from a local pizza mass brand into the Philippines’ #1 Favorite Pizza brand which “Fuels Friendship.” He is also responsible for all Greenwich Pizza and Pasta innovations such as Greenwich Overloaded Pizzas, Xtreme Cheese “Sobrang Cheesy!” Pizzas, Greenwich Level-Up Pizzas, American Idol Pizza, and Lasagna Supreme relaunch which led to outstanding increase in sales and market share.

Jimmy Thai is the Primer Group’s President and Chief Executive Officer.
Thai and four friends started Primer International Corporation in 1985. Together, they watched what started as a trading firm grow and expand into numerous affiliates and subsidiaries in various diversified categories like consumer and industrial goods, and property investments.
Now on its 27th year, the Primer Group is the biggest player in outdoor accessories, apparel, gear and equipment, bringing brands like the North Face, Columbia, Kickers, Quiksilver, and Sanuk to the local scene.
Under Thai’s leadership, various Primer affiliates have been given awards and recognition. She is adept in managing brand health tracking studies as well as ad hoc researches such as Usage, Attitude and Imagery studies (UAI), concept testing, product testing, segmentation studies, shopper studies, social and polling studies, etc.
Ms. Gonzales-Mangila has broad experience in using a number of TNS Solutions like BPO, Conversion Model, Ad Eval and Needscope. She also has a wide exposure in a various categories from FMCG, healthcare and social and polling accounts. Currently, she is TNS’ local Retail & Shopper Champion.

Maria Victoria Rowena M. Tomeldan has more than 24 years of experience in commercial property operations and management.
She is currently the Vice President and head of Ayala Land Inc.’s Operation and Support Services, Commercial Business Group which manages the malls, office buildings and the industrial park in Laguna in the portfolio of Ayala Land. Prior to this, she was Vice President and COO of Ayala Malls where she supervised and mentored teams that manage the shopping centers operated by Ayala Land Inc.
She is also a member of the board of judges of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC)-Asia since 2008 and was a member of the board of judges of ICSC Maxi Awards from 2010-2011.
Tomeldan completed her Masters in Business Administration Program at the University of the Philippines and her Executive Development Program at the Aresty Institute of Executive Education at Wharton University of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Cheryl Lao Lee is the Managing Director of multi-brand fashion retail concept store Original Penguin, Anthem and Thomas Sabo.
Ms. Lao started her venture into the retail industry when she opened Lifestyle Essences International Inc.,a distribution company that sold these brands in specialty stores such as MIX (Greenbelt) and Souk Gallery (Pasig and Makati). She later on decided to open Anthem and Original Penguin at the Power plant Mall in May 2006 and 2009 respectively, fulfilling her dream of having her own specialty shop that will carry up and coming denim brands as well as other contemporary labels..
To date, there are 12 Original Penguin stores, 3 Anthem stores and 3 Thomas Sabo stores nationwide.
Ms. Lao Lee is a degree holder of Business Management from the Ateneo de Manila University prior to going to Harvard University of Cambridge, Massachusetts to pursue graduate studies in marketing and management.

Ms. Karen Ong is the Retail Division Manager of Keds & Sperry Top-Sider in the Philippines. In 2010, she led the conceptualization and launch of Complex Lifestyle Store, a full concept lifestyle store providing a curation of brands and ideas from footwear and apparel to accessories all integrated into a single unique experience. In just over a year, Complex Lifestyle Store has expanded in different mall locations.
In 2011, she opened the first Sperry Top-Sider boutique outside of the US. The store received an overwhelming welcome and was recognized by the Ayala Malls Merchant Rewards this year as Most Promising Retailer. Another milestone will soon be set as her team prepares for the opening of one of the first Keds boutiques in the world; shortly after the brand's re-launch in the Philippines last year.

Olive Ramos is the President and Managing Director of the DHL Supply Chain Philippines. With over 15 years of experience in logistics and supply chain, Ramos grew the company in terms of revenue, profitability service capability, and customer base. She is instrumental in pioneering the third party logistics in the Philippines. She introduced logistics solutions and design in the retail sector and set a cost effective model in transportation and delivery to stores.
Ramos holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the De La Salle University. She graduated Cum Laude from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines with a degree in Accountancy and finished, with distinction, the Program in Development Economics from the University of the Philippines. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a US licensed Certified Internal Auditor.
Ramos holds several positions as committee chair in various organizations such as Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines and the Philippine Association of Management Accountants. Mr. Illac Diaz is a former corporate executive who has established several foundations that provide sustainable solutions to societal problems. These include Pier One Seafarer’s Dormitory, a self-sustaining dormitory for Filipino seamen in between overseas contracts, and MyShelter Foundation, a non-profit organization which has created sustainable solutions for the building of clinics and classrooms in rural areas.

Mr. Waterhouse has over 35 years work experience in the design industry, which include working with International branding consultant Wolff Olin's and retail guru Professor Rodney Fitch.
His work has taken him to more than 20 countries gaining considerable international and regional perspective working with a diverse range of clients, from developers, manufactures, wholesalers, entrepreneurs and retailers over his working career. In the Philippines, Mr. Waterhouse has worked with Caltex Oil International, David Salon, Golden ABC, Primer Group, Shangri La Plaza, Shangri La Hotel & Resorts, SM, Toby's Sports and Wilcon Depot.
Mr. Waterhouse also holds brand ambassadorship for Destilleria Limtuaco the oldest Distillery in the Philippines.

Ms. Karen Coloma is the Head of the Licensing Division of ABS-CBN Corporation. Coloma first joined ABS-CBN in 1999 under the Consumer Products Division. Prior to that, she worked at McCann Erickson Philippines Account Management Division handling high-profile accounts such as Del Monte Corporation and San Miguel Foods. Coloma graduated Magna cum Laude at the University of the Asia and the Pacific with a degree in Communication.

As head of marketing of RSCI, she has defined the marketing communications strategy and tactics of the various brands under the group. She oversees the advertising, promotions, special events, public relations, visual merchandising, marketing research and CRM program of the group. She has also spearheaded various internal marketing campaigns with the goal of developing a highly motivated, united, and honest workforce.
Prior to this, she was president of FJY Consulting, Inc., which provided marketing and management consulting services for leading corporations in the Philippines and Asia. She was also Vice President and General Manager of Trackers, a marketing research and consultancy firm whose clients included top 500 corporations in the retail, banking, telecoms, IT, manufacturing, and services sector.

Ms. Jeannie E. Javelosa is the co-founder and director of ECHOstore (Environment Community Hope Organization) Sustainable Lifestyle; a pioneering green retail store focused on selling fair trade and community-created products.
For its sustainable retail practices, advocacy and concept, ECHOstore won several recognitions and awards such as 2009 BID (Business in Development) Challenge Philippines, which qualified them to compete in the Netherlands. In the same year, the store was also the first recipient of Green Merchant Awards by Ayala Land. The following year, ECHOcafe (Culture-Community-Coffee) which serves Philippine coffee and dishes from community food products was launched. In 2011, ECHOmarket Sustainable Farms became the first mall-located natural/organic produce market that sold products by local farmers and producers.
Ms. Javelosa also leads the development arm of ECHO Sustainable Initiatives Foundation (ECHOsi) that runs product design and teaching programs related to social-cultural enterprise development and women’s economic empowerment.
